How to Measure

Height
Measure from the top of the head to the floor. Have your child stand barefoot with feet together and back straight against a wall.
Chest
Measure under the arms at the fullest part around the chest. Keep the tape level and comfortably loose.
Waist
Measure around the natural waistline, allowing the tape measure to sit comfortably without pulling tight.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and bottom, keeping the tape level.
Inside Leg
Measure from the crotch down to the floor, standing barefoot with legs slightly parted.
International Conversion
Our sizing strictly follows UK standards. For international equivalence, please note:
- Europe (EU): Generally corresponds directly to the child's height in cm (e.g., UK 3Y ≈ EU 98cm).
- United States (US): US numeric sizes align closely with UK sizing for children (e.g., UK 4Y ≈ US 4).
- Footwear: We recommend adding 1-1.5cm to the actual foot length to allow for growth when selecting a UK shoe size.
Between Sizes?
Tall for their age?
If your child is taller than average, always base your choice on their height rather than their age, and consider sizing up.
Buying a gift?
When in doubt, it's safer to buy a size "with room to grow". Children grow quickly, and slightly looser clothing is always appreciated.
Room to grow
Our outerwear (coats, jackets) is naturally designed with extra allowance to accommodate sweaters or layers underneath.
